Why am I addicted and am constantly looking for "slackline potential" wherever I go!? Every hike I go on I'm seeing where I could set up a line and how much gear I need to pack! Who else has this problem?

Always, always, always. You spend every waking moment thinking about the slacklife...then when you actually get a on a highline, you're like "WHY THE FUCK DO I DO THIS AGAIN!? WHY DO I THINK THIS IS FUN" hahah

adrenaline, like Mars, is fickle and overpowering. I try to trap it in a bottle and take little sips until the next fill-up, but I never have enough ice.

  • As enlightened as we all try to be, most of us struggle with loneliness, depression, stress, grief, and many other difficult feelings on a daily basis, yet for some reason we don't feel like we can share those feelings online. There is much pressure on social media to be positive all the time; to only share your highlight reel. Well, we at The International Church of Slacklife say SCREW THAT! Let's change it together. No one benefits when we all pretend we are perfect, and it can be extremely helpful to realize how many of us struggle with the same feelings. If you are struggling with something, please use this forum to reach out to the community for help and advice.
